Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers has dismissed widespread reports linking him with the dugout at Old Trafford. Rodgers debunked those Manchester United rumours during his latest press conference on Thursday ahead of the Premier League clash with leaders Chelsea. Rodgers and Leicester City play hosts to the Blues with the hope of claiming the win that would put spanner in the works of their title challenge.
During the abovementioned press conference, Brendan Rodgers denied that he has been approached by the Manchester United hierarchy to replace the embattled Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as their manager. The former Liverpool, Swansea City and Watford manager was quick to praise Solskjaer whom he described as a good manager. Rodgers lauded the job that the Norwegian has done at Old Trafford since he was appointed into his role as manager.
