Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has given an injury update on his team ahead of the London Derby clash with Fulham. Arteta and his Arsenal players will play hosts to the newly promoted team in the late kickoff on Saturday as far as Premier League football is concerned.

Arteta gave an update on his players during his pre-match press conference for the aforementioned game on Friday. According to him, he has a fully fit squad except for English winger Reiss Nelson. The former Feyenoord and TSG Hoffenheim star has returned to training this week, but he’s not yet available for selection. Nelson has not played for Arsenal this season. New signing Fabio Vieira also missed the start of this season due to injury just like what’s obtainable with Nelson, but he’s available for selection ahead of the Fulham game. As a matter of fact, he was an unused substitute as Arsenal thrashed newly promoted team Bournemouth 3-0 on the road to secure top spot on the Premier League table.

Norwegian star Martin Odegaard (brace) and William Saliba were on target for the Gunners. Portuguese junior international Vieira could make his Arsenal debut against Fulham following his transfer from FC Porto. The Gunners agreed a deal worth £30m plus add-ons for Vieira to secure his signing from the Portuguese champions.

Arsenal have won all their three league games this season and they can make it four wins from four matches with a victory at home to Fulham who are a newly promoted team alongside Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth.

Latest opponents Fulham are unbeaten in the league this season just like the Gunners, but they didn’t win all their own games. Fulham have one win and two draws from their first three games on the Premier League scene this season including the impressive 2-2 win at home to Liverpool on the opening weekend of the season.
